We also discussed if we would ever electrocute some one. Right away I said no because not only do I not know the person I'm electrocuting, but I don't like to hurt people.

First Day
On our first day of class we were each greeted with a handshake. So pretty much I felt awkward at first because we were all pretty much quiet. In order to make the class awkward, every one became very quiet. This created an interesting classroom. After sitting for a while people started to talk, and I knew a few people in class including Buck so I was trying to figure out what was going on. Finally I'm a senior which is pretty exciting :)

why did the hand shake make you feel awkward? i liked the change of pace. and ya when smith just sat there is was kind of odd because i feel like no one new what to do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me make the cut into your blog kyle :] I completely agree with everything you said; everything was super awkward when nobody was talking. I don't know about everyone else but I was definately confused. P.S. good to know you don't like to hurt people, I don't know many people who do.
ReplyDeleteTo Aqua and Haynes.....do you think the Milgram experiment of shocking because we are obedient to authority relates to your comments about everyone was silent b/c we didn't know what to do!??! REALLY, you are SENIORS -12 years of school experience and for 5 minutes on the first day you wouldn't know what to do? PUHHLEEEEAAASSE, you all are school professionals by this point in life, a kindergarten kid doesn't know what to do, a senior should???!?/? OR, is it as Milgram might say, you are raised to expect an authority figure to tell you what to do and will do it, and when the authority figure (me) didn't do it you were awkward and confused?!?! Just wondering out loud!
